Tacoma DF-21 W/ Case

Description

This is a Beautiful Tiger Maple and Spruce Tacoma all solid dreadnought. Pre-Fender Vintage. It was made in Tacoma WA. It has one of the nicest Sunburst finishes I've ever seen. It has a small amount of finish lifting on the head-stock, as is common with Tacomas, but the body, sides, and back are in perfect condition. Comes with tusque nut and saddle, original Tuners, and features a patented Tacoma Cathedral body bracing, wave MOP fret markers and full body and soundhole pufling. It has plenty of depth and volume and is in excellent condition. Comes with a hard-shell travel case, with black padded interior.

I bought this guitar from Guitar Center in 2010. It was labeled “USED” on the headstock and the serial number changed.
The tech at the store could only find the finish flaws on the back or possibly the wood grain line on the front of the guitar as a reason it could have been deemed a 2nd.
Either way it plays and sounds great! The extra-wide nut makes for smooth finger picking. I removed the pickguard years ago because I typically think orchestra size guitars look better without a guard.
